Good morning,
is that normal?
I only use OrBit to unlimit the 180 km/h. Every time I do so or revert to OEM before update and service, after configuration the trailer service notification comes up and I can't release the hitch. Only after deleting all errors and rebooting all ECUs, the hitch is working again.
The car is a 2024 XC90 T8.
Cheers

Just wanted to chime in and say I had this same issue.
Also updated the speed limit, after which the hitch was put in error. After resetting the ECUs it worked again.
This was with a 2025 XC60.

I do not have this behavior on my 2018 so likely something on AAOS
@power6 could look into it.

As the car is going for service soon I reset the configuration to OEM again, and once again the same issue appeared.
It's not a serious issue, but it's a bit annoying.

This is a known issue. The "new" TRM module (late 2024-up cars) needs a reset after config programming. Which the current release version of OrBit does...but there was a further issue in that sometimes the TRM isn't ready in time after programming, so the reset is missed. This is what causes the problem. 2024 and earlier cars using the older TRM modules, this is not an issue.
The quick workaround is to reset the TRM module: ECU Tools tab-->Select TRM in "Active Diag ECU" dropdown-->Click "Reset ECU" button. That will solve it in the moment.
The issue is solved in upcoming update release. I've confirmed it on a few cars already. Those with the specific issue that would like to try the pre-release for themselves and confirm it is solved, send a message to support(at)spaycetech-dot-com and we can set you up.
