Re-enabling Pixel lights on XC40 after 3.7 software update?
#1
Hi — In the past I had been able to enable the Pixel headlights on my XC40 simply by changing parameter 106 from "11" to "12." I never had to change the setting for 109.

This worked great until I got the latest software update at the dealership to version 3.7. Pixel headlights no longer work.  I used OrBit to change 106 back to "12," but still no love. I then did a restore to OEM settings, then changed 106 back to "12." Still nothing.

I then changed 109 to "07" (Pixel lights, US/Can setting) but still no luck.

Has anyone successfully re-enabled Pixel functionality after the latest software updates?

Thanks!

I don't know the exact setting but I thought you need to set it to ROW instead of US.

Hi, tell me if you finally managed to turn on the Pixel lights in your Volvo after the 3.7 update.

This is correct - you just need to set config item 109 to “06” (not “07”). I just updated my North American ‘23 XC40 BEV to 3.7 and confirmed the Pixel functionality still works.
