ECM Unlock for Denso/Freescale ECM
#31
Look at BMW, much larger market. Still a single unlocking solution: Femto. And for that you have to send your ECU half way around the world...

I fear with Volvo there simply isn't the market.

Polestar it is.

Hi, do you have any updates on the progress of the calculator reading?

Hello. Since the newer ECUs with Freescale processors are still locked at the moment, I started wondering whether it would be difficult to downgrade the ECU and use a V90 ECU that only has a DPF. Could there be a solution for the immobilizer?

It will require a new ecu and the price will be 1800 Euro. And your dealer can never update the ECM again because you will lose your tuning if they do that.

Volvo doesn't provide P* for T6 recharge here (Sweden) though it seems. So the options are limited.

Were did you get this information from? Normaly Rica alters the ECU hardware so it can be flashed and you get in Isosoftloader so you can reflash the ECU maps after an update

New ecu's don't have encryption on them so, that is the way to go. A new one will set you back 1000 Euro. This ecu cannot be programmed with the isoftloader. The rest of the information s including the price came from them on a phone call. But since "the code" is cracked now, other tuners will jump on this and the price will go down. Just some patience now.
