Orbit Support: TRM Relearn, 360 Calibration, Towing Module Setup

Hi everyone,

I’m based in the EU and own a 2018 Volvo XC90 D5 Inscription (SPA platform). I’m considering purchasing the Orbit application for a few specific tasks. Before making the purchase, I want to confirm whether the following processes are possible with Orbit:

1. TRM Relearn:
• My car exhibits jerky shifts in D mode, while the issue is absent in M mode.

2. 360 Camera Calibration:
• The angles of both the front and rear cameras in the 360-degree view appear misaligned.

3. Towing Module Setup:
• I plan to install a new OEM towing module for the original tow hitch and need to configure it.

Can Orbit handle these operations? If so, are there any specific sw required?

I think you sent me a message, but I figured helpful here for others to answer...

1: I think you mean TCM re-learn (Transmission Control Module, not TRM trailer module)
YES you can reset TCM adaptations with OrBit.
   

2:  360 camera calibration
YES you can calibrate the 360 parking cameras, you can trigger it and check in on the status, or drive the car and monitor the status if you like (they automatically calibrate as you drive). 
   

3: TRM loading and adaptation
YES you can load software to the new TRM, and enabling the tow bar is a matter of configuration. Send an email to support when you get the TRM, I can help you identify and obtain the correct software for it.

Is it also possible to modify the tow hook line? Mine is for some reason misaligned. When I follow the line it's always 10 cm apart from the trailer hitch.

I have done both #2 and #3 on mine, A-1

Although my front cam is screwed because I have a newer grill on an older car hehe
