Volvo V60 Outside Mirror Autodimming
#1
Question
Hello
In my Volvo V60 2020 I have regular mirrors without dimming and without BLIS. I have an auto-dimming interior mirror. Is it enough to change only the mirror glasses or do I need to make a mirror harness?
If necessary, they will make a harness. Maybe someone has a diagram of which cables need to be made.

You will need to replace the mirror and the harness inside the mirror housing at least. The auto dimming mirrors, have two wires (pos and neg) to dimm the mirror which most likely you do not have.

Are these just two wires between the mirror and the door module?
Which pins are responsible for dimming?
Is any coding required?

Look at the wiring diagram. %95 of the wiring is same. There are couple of differences that are the features that 90 series have.
Yes, you will need coding with Orbit.  Rear view mirror sends signal to body control module, that sends signal to door (modules) which adjusts the dimming of the side mirrors.  Without coding, that signal is not sent and door modules wouldn't listen to those signals.

Most of the wiring is common but this should give you a direction.
