Adding massage and ventilation
#1
Hi all-

I am wondering if anyone can help me to identify seats to swap into my 2019 S60 T6 Inscription.

The interior is Almond and seats are heated.

I would like to add both ventilation and massage as I frequently commute long distances.

I did see the process for adding massage requires a wire to be run.

Two questions.

1. What models share the same seat?
2. How to identify seats with massage?  If I’m looking at a salvaged vehicle, is there a way to know if they have massage if the car does not power on?

I retrofitted s90 full set (front and rear) to my s60.  Front seats are ventilated / heated / side support / massage . rear seats are heated and ventilated.  (still working on controlling the ventilated rear seats without changing the climate from 2 to 4 zone.

So, you can get the front seats from V90 or s90.
Massage seats have an air unit under the seat. It's quite noticeable like a water tank.
Just make sure the seats come with the controller, all original wiring and airbags are not blown.

It should. If it does not have the controller, do not buy the seat. Otherwise it would be pain in the rear end for you to find the correct module that would have the correct software and PINs. Not all the controllers are the same.
