This routine should be run after clearing the "P0171 - System Too Lean (Bank 1)"  ECM DTC.

Bumping this topic, maybe someone found new info about transmission relearning/ adaptation procedure. I've change the oil and the mechanic started the relearning procedure but unfortunately was too short because I had to go home quickly. If engine is shut off the procedure ends..

I have run adaptation process after oil change with AUTEL. Procedure says You need to accelerate slowly on each gear, there is information on dash board "transmision in adaptation mode" and gears shows as D1, D2, D3, D4, D5, D6, D7, D8 after transmission run all 8 gears information "adaptation completed" appear and adaptation proces is finished. Then i stoped, turn off and on engine and thats all.

I know this can be activated with other scan tools but my interest is in Orbit. You are very right about the procedure but for me the trip back home was short (gearbox still adapting) and shifts between 3-4 are abit rough. It's a pain to go back to service because I need new appointment and should wait approx. 1 month.
