Trigger reset VCM? (VIDA toggling programming mode on/off)

Hi!

First of all - thanks for your work on SPA programming!

Before I buy - i Wonder if it's possible to reset VCM module by triggering the same reset process as in VIDA Advanced test?


Having issues with VCM (gps position, WiFi e.g.) on my 2017 V90.

Yes, can send reset cmd to any available module.
But check first does your VCM allow communication to VCM.
Had same problem with VCM - was able to run diagnostics only via DICE.
Orbit allows only VOE adapter (as far i`m aware)

Thanks! I dont seem to have comm / contact with my car through DoIP/VOE (vdash) so I guess I need to order a DICE cable.

Did you manage to fix your VCM through DICE connection?

Do Orbit have a trial so I can test my stup before buying?

Installed second hand VCM (not quite the same because mine look really rare version (has 2 USB outputs: IHU and TEM). Thus far I'm able to connect to car via VOE. But still can't get WiFi to work. Only GPS and DOIP works.
Have done some homework and seems it's quite possible to change old VCM along with TEM3G to single module VCM LTE version. All wiring seems to match, only now need to find LTE VCM at reasonable price with return option. Programming along will be quite intense as LTE VCM have dual cpu configuration - so have to read out both TEM and VCM CPU's.
