Also during my inspection of the harnesses i think it's possible if somebody wants to do a shortcut they can use the hole in the door connectors where the mirror cameras cable should come through (only works ofcourse if you do not have cameras in your mirrors.. Smile )

the harness i bought was with camera so this is occupied but for somebody just pulling the one wire through it is an option.

Here is the part number 30656698 for the repair terminal you need for the most part of the CEM connector.  Check this out for the other two types.  The bigger ones are for high amp circuits. Yours is just a signal same as the parking sensors.

So you are saying the 2 for the rear antenna in the FL connector are the same as the one in the FO connector? or would it be 30656637?

The part number 30656698 is the smallest PIN on the CEM connectors. "The purple side" of the connector (from the picture above).  The blue socket has two sizes and  part 30656637 goes to blue side. Now, I don't know which side you need to connect for your retro fit all the three connectors have the same three sizes.

It's the purple side. So it should be the same terminal in FL and FO in other words for the keyless retrofit.
In FO and FL connector is not the same pin

This is why i was confused. Your pictures say something else

I want to ask . Can I install touch buttons in standard pens? If you install only 2 handles and 4 antennas. Will this work?

it will not work. There is a proximity sensor installed which has 2 sections - one from inside to open the locks (detects a hand put inside the handle) and second outside - to lock the car.
The sensor communicates with the car on the communication bus - I dont remember if it is CAN or LIN - does not matter - simple touch sensor will not work.

Hi again,

I'm stupid and depinned my separatley bought "front pillar" connector so now i cant remember where the handle signal pin goes in the door.

As i'm going to pig-tail CAN to my new electric seats i thought i'd pop the front pins in.

When i check the wiring diagram for front door it says connector 94/503.1:3
It's no secret I'm not used to diagarams but if it says :13 i know its pin 13. But ".1:3" throws me off. is it pin 3 on connector 1? how do i know what is what?

EDIT: Answer for front pillars is pin 4.

Thanks for the answer. Do I need to install 4 handles? 2 front ones won't be enough?

2 will work as long as you mount antennas in the back doors and trunk. You will get fault code for othe 2 missing handles though

I don't know what do you mean by antennas but I can tell you this. There is module in the trunk behind the plastic cover where the locking mechanism. If it is disconnected, the keyless entry and locking the doors from the push button on the handles  will not work at all.  So, disconnection of any of the components may be enough for the system not to work at all.

For keyless to work antennas need to be mounted, in the trunk its under the floor towards the bumper. So when you come close to trunk and press it and antenna recognises your fob, trunk will unlock

I understand that all 4 antennas are needed. But I want to install only 2 handles. Access will work, but there will be an error in the block. Did I understand correctly?
