For the navigation maps upgrade. You should be able to do it!
Download the whole region which includes the base map. Get 64GB flash drive, format it to Fat32, copy the download map files to the root of the flash drive and connect the flash drive while the ignition is on. For the Pilot assist upgrade https://accessories.volvocars.com/en-us/.../Automatic Orbit only enables the already existing features "installed software" it does not upgrade! However, some official "software upgrades" such as park assist pilot is just enabling the additional side sensors and the function meaning that the software already exists in the CEM. Having said that, the pilot assist software is not in the CEM, it's in the BCM and we cannot really know what the upgrade "pilot assist 2" includes That's why you might need to do the upgrade by the official way from VIDA. If you already have pilot assist, the upgrade software should be available for purchase in the add feature section of the software TAB. Or you can search for the part numbers from the link above inside the VIDA. VIDA subscription costs around $90 for 3 days! Pilot Assist upgrade should be around $200 Total upgrade is free $0.10 :-) If you do not have the CEM pin yet. You can capture the traffic with wireshark while installing Total upgrade or configuration check to the car via VIDA and then use the capture file to decode the CEM pin with Orbit! |
