I'm going to upgrade my HP amplifier to a HK amp (part number 32265526 removed from a 2020 V60). I have a 2020 XC60 Momentum T5. It has Kicker coax brand speakers in the doors and a Rockville powered sub already installed. I'm looking for more power for the Kickers and more settings in the software.
If I understand what I've read, the one green connector from my HP amp should fit the new HK amp. My questions are:
1) Do I need to move any pins in the green connector to get my current speakers to work? Every door speaker is currently wired in parallel and I have no interest in wiring component speakers (separate channels).
2) I don't have a center speaker in the dash and I don't have ceiling speakers either....and I don't want to add them. So do I need the second green connector?
3) Do I need to add dummy loads (resistors) to the amp's speaker terminals that I'm not using?
Thanks in advance! Bill
