Adding to this thread and trying to understand everything.
It looks like all SPA vehicles prior to 2019 MY had analog microphones. So 16-18 XC90, 17-18 S90 and 18 XC60
If wanting to move to faster IHU you will need to swap to the newer microphones and make the nessecary wiring updates.
My question is if VIDA will allow this hardware in the vehicle that didn't come with the newer IHU? IE can I perform the region certificate upgrade? Has anyone done this?
Also, what are the IHU versions. Is pre 2019 considered IHU 3.0 and 3.1? Does anyone have the HW numbers for the different years?
If I wanted/needed to stick with IHU 3.1 in my 2016 so that VIDA would work with it, is it as fast as 3.2? Does anyone have the HW number for 3.1?
