Bad news... I'm still having the same problem. It's really strange; it’s as if the module that sends the remote start command is "asleep," because after I drive the car, I test it and it starts—and locks and unlocks—just fine.
I’ve been looking online and found that the module responsible is the TCAM module, which has its own backup battery. I’ve seen people reset it manually by disconnecting the battery and pulling fuse 26 in the cabin.
I need to give that a try and see if it works...
