FWIW: 2022.5 S60 T8 with Extended Range with Sensus.
A couple months back, I installed the paddles shift steering wheel and the drive mode scroll wheel and had Orbit change the configs to recognize the parts. Yesterday, I had my dealer do the Polestar optimization. The software installed but the drive mode still said "Power". I am wondering if the config change for the scroll wheel prevented the text from changing? Shifts feel quicker in "Power" so I think the Polestar Optimization software is active. The dealer showed me a VIDA printout that the software was installed to my car.
Today, I used Orbit to select the "Polestar Optimized" option. Everything feels the same, quick shifts seems to hold gears longer and the 455hp T8 still pulls strong!
