R-Design steering Wheel

Hi everyone,

Not too long ago joined the club, I drive a XC90 T8 Inscription from 2016.

Next monday I will have a new R-Design steering wheel with the paddles. And after playing with Orbit I enabled the 041 option for the paddles. When scanning the car I receive a DTC with the lines:

⬤ EGSM-U2E0913 - 2026/01/10 - Pending DTC
Paddle Up- General Electrical Failures- Circuit open

⬤ EGSM-U2E0A13 - 2026/01/10 - Pending DTC
Paddle Down- General Electrical Failures- Circuit open

Does this mean I already have the cables running towards the slip ring at the steering wheel? Or is this a general error for not having the steering wheel installed?
