Dealer can request a certificate to volvo for example EU certificate for some cost, Volvo will provide them the certificate for your car and they will download then install it to your car, some say it converts the car from US to EU, my dealer said it does not change anything “much” or when they last tried to install on someone else's car the installation failed and in that case you still pay for the certificate, so i was curious if anyone has tried that before attempting it.
I think you cant request EU certificate in US though, i live in EU and the car is a US import.
