Iv'e had same error on volvo S90, CEM-B128A01 - left headlamp general electrical failure bending lights did not work. After removing the headlight, found that module 31434778 - responsible for bending had a crack in it. Probably the car had accident before, and light was changed, but modules were reinstalled. My headlight is GEN1 with 4 modules without HCM. On first inspection the module looked okay, only one mounting point was chipped away. But after removing the plastic cap i found that the seal between plastic cap and chip was broken, and moisture got inside, and cause some damage. So if you get similar error, check this module, and if you see some corrosion damage, you can try to replace it. After replacing bending lights work perfectly.
