@SlapNutz I've swapped the Base HP with HK on an XC90 following your example. Also, added the center speaker and the sub.
After swapping the amp I lost sound in the front door mid ranges and tweeters (the same channel I think).
I've verified I only had shelf (headliner) speakers on plug D in the first place. I ran both HP and HK amps with the D plug unplugged and there was no sound from the shelf speakers.
Also verified, there's sound from the front mid range and tweeters with the HP. I thought that maybe the IHU runs the front mid ranges and tweeters in the HP configuration but crossed that out. There is no sound from the front doors when the C is unplugged with the HP amp.
My assumption is somehow the front mid ranges and tweeters are fed from plug C in the HP configuration ?♂️ What do you think? How would you troubleshoot this?
