Simple,  search the part number of the replacement IHU https://usparts.volvocars.com/  and check for the fitment. The result might be newer part number but look for the supersessions too.

If you are not using the maps or other downloaded apps, you would not gain anything by swapping the hdd.  Yes, it is possible to clone the disk but it is password protected.  You would need the paid software to unlock it first.
