XC40 Recharge interior lights retrofit

Quick update: I tried changing the Overhead lights to one from a Polestar 2 with ambient light, for testing purposes and nothing changed. I still have this weird issue where the light stays on all the time and I can't turn it off.

Theory: could it perhaps be from the lack of rear seats lights? I will have to try and see
