Apologies if any of this is incorrect, but this is how I understand it and what I do.
Ideally you measure the suspension heights at each corner and enter those measurements in.
IF you trust the measurements that the car is reading you can enter those if you’re lazy, but that may lead to errors.
The trim setting is separate. So after you enter the measurements you have, you set the offset from stock that you would like the car at. So if you want the car lowered by 2cm you select “Lower” and 20mm
Conversely, if you’re trying to set the car to stock, you do the same thing, measure the corners, enter the numbers, and then set it to Lower or Raise by 0mm.
