Do not know how it is with SPA/CMA, but for P3 cars in DIM flash is part of dump where fuel tank data is stored. After replacing DIM I always have to write the fuel tank dump part to the new DIM, because if it will not be done, the fuel gauge also flashes (off course, only in case when new DIM is from the car with different fuel tank) It is for P3 cars. Could be that for SPA/CMA can be the same, who knows....
