1. The US seats have position sensors that are located on the runners. In the GB, they are not there at all. Is this a problem? Or are the position sensors in the motors in the GB seats?
Those are not position sensors, they are track sensors which are used by the SRS system. There is a config item for it "127 SEAT TRACK SENSORS"
You must take them out from the original seats and put them to the replacement seat because your SRS software is using them. If you disable the config, you will get AirBag warning on the DIM.
2. Passenger presence sensor. In the US seats it is completely different, it is a gel cushion from which a tube goes to the block with wires. But in the GB seats it is a mechanical contact (as in all European ones). Is this a problem, will an American car understand, the passenger position sensor from the GB?
Check this settings " 131 OCCUPANT WEIGHT SENSOR" You might need to change it from OWS to 03. Worse case, move it if you can.
