Back to OEM or not...

I have a Sensus car too, does it even matter if they block my car? We aren't getting any more updates.

So far VOLVO has released 2 total upgrades every year for SPA cars.  In addition, either SPA or CMA (Android), they all share the same ECU, CEM, BCM, SRS and list goes on. 
But it's not only about getting updates at all. If your car gets blocked due to unofficial configuration change by Orbit / V-DASH  or any other tool, you won't be able to reload any ECU regardless, the reload is due to a replaced faulty ECU or not.  
So, save yourself the stress, frustration and just revert back to OEM before visiting the service. Save your config before reverting back to OEM and reload it after getting back the car from service.

There will be no more updates for Sensus. Last Total Upgrade 2024
