Enabling Pilot Assist and Adaptive Cruise Control
You don't need to disassemble the part but yes, you will need to remove the plastic cover to see it.  It's not hard to remove it, just  couple of clips. However,  it would still depend on where the manufacturer put the sticker. Mine was at the top, easy to see. 

The other way around, is to check on VIDA.  You can call your local service and ask them what part number you need for your VIN. Then check online what is the variant code for the part number service gave you. Then you can compare it to the one in the accessory webpage.
