No, It does. the prices you get in the VIDA is the manufacturer suggested retail prices and that's what they charge. But the service dealers add their profit on the top of it in addition they charge you software installation labour hours.  I am not trying to justify the $2500, this is just how those scumbags operate. 

VIDA will not install the software if your hydraulic unit is needed to be replaced.  But something does not fit, if your car is  "2020 XC60 T8"  you should not need to replace your unit. 

So, I finally got the cable and managed to read the configuration. Apparently, it's actually the wrong module I get:
