Yes, you can. The heating and ventilated seats are controlled with the same LIN slave module and it's not even connected to the seat module. 
Yes, you can transfer them from your old seats to the new one but you should also transfer the seat controller(s) otherwise, next time you connect your car to VIDA, it will detect them and force you to reload PSMD and PSMP. 

If the new seats have seat massage and side support you just need to wire positive wire to PIN 15, that's it

Thank you for the reply. Do you have any pictures/info on how to replace the seat controllers? I’m aware of how vida will detect it. I’ve just thought that I would disconnect both seats before taking the car in for service but if the controllers are interchangeble, then maybe it would be better to swap them.

I live in the EU and consumers can’t access VIDA here :/


I’m also quite new to vida functions for the aformentioned reason. If the dealer reloads PSMD and PSMP software, what happens after that? Would they work the same but VIDA wouldn’t act up when connecting the car to it?
