You can put a IHU came from a country in far east. Once the CEM wakes up it pushes config message to all ECUs. In your case it's IHU via flexray.
Then each ECU enables or disables the options with their installed software according to message coming from CEM.
The only important thing is that, the requested feature exists in the ECU's software or HW even supports it.
What you can do actually, go to the VOLVO dealer, and request for market change. Which will require an CEM reload at least partially.
Ok thanks.. I thought my local Volvo dealer said it was not possible to do a Market change to my car.. Maybe they just didn't want to spend time on it.
Could I do it myself through VIDA?
