Non-bendy LED to Bendy LED headlamps swap
#24
Here is the thing. The software inside the HCMs are exactly the same for Bendy or non-bendy.  The only difference is the type of the HCM. (High or MID) but this difference is only from factory! All new replacement HCMs purchased from dealer, support both Bendy and non-bendy. There is no (HIGH / MID) difference for replacement part.

I replaced both of my headlight with Full LED Bendy.  I purchased two used HCMs (High).  Power sent me the software for HCMs and flashed them according to the guide.
Then I enabled the Adaptive and Bendy, everything just worked fine.

After a year or so, I restored config to OEM and connected the VIDA to do total upgrade. VIDA detected the replaced used HCMs and forced me to purchase HCM reload  before letting me to perform the upgrade.  I did reload both HCMs via vida. Put the config back to bendy and it just worked.

So, keep in mind that at some point if you ever connect your car to VIDA after replacing your HCMs and falsing them via Orbit, you will need to reload them via VIDA otherwise it won't let you to perform total upgrade.

Not sure if you can purchase 3 days subscription in Germany but if you cannot, you might end up paying for labour hours and for the profit that service makes on the top of the  software cost.
