One thing not functioning is the stop and go with a car in front, I just come to a stop. But reading the Polestar manual I think this actually needs the creep mode to be enabled in the car (which I have off).
As an update to this the new config wizard is super cool and I tried "Level 2", pretty sure from a seat of the pants test that "Level 1" was better so reverted.
Also, the traffic assist needs a vehicle to follow, so if it slows you and the vehicle in front turns off, and nothing is in front of that, there is no "target" vehicle any more so it will disengage. So my bad, mis-understanding of the feature.
I had a good conversation with Andrew regarding the L1 vs L2, and it seems to be a market difference, so most likely differences that arise from regulation. One of the key things in China seems to be around "time off wheel". In fact, it's completely illegal to have any system that allows this, so even L3 systems being developed technically require hands on wheel and they just "flout" the rules a bit for how long they can do it. I think when I was on L2 it did feel a shorter time that the car allowed me to be hands off, and it was more sensitive to my hands being off/lighter on the wheel. Just anecdotal, but that's my theory!!
