DPF state is probably read from a DID. I would guess, it comes from the ECM. Have a look on the ECU Tools tab, set the Active ECU to ECM, then look or search in the list of DIDs that can be read. Send me a message at support if you don't see it! There might be something we can do if the information doesn't seem to be there.
DPF regeneration, is a possibility. I'd need to add it, but if it's a common enough thing that one would want to do, I can do it. It is possible to do some things like this leveraging the raw "ECU Cmd" feature with OrBit, which would let us try/test it and see if it works for you. Again reach out to me at support, I can get you through it likely, and if it is good, I can see about making that easier with a specific button on the service tab.
I probably owe my diesel Volvo brothers and sisters a little love ;-) Maybe it makes sense to read the DPF state on connection and display it on the main tab in OrBit.
