Curve Speed Assist in AAOS models (USA) - beeping?

I enabled curve speed assist and I haven't noticed it being active....but on my trip today the car randomly started beeping at me when I was on the highway using pilot assist.  

Does it work on the AAOS models in the USA at all? 

Does enabling curve assist automatically enable some speed limit warning beep or something along those lines?

I'm likely going to just disable it because it doesn't seem to do anything in this country with an AAOS vehicle, but any ideas on the random beeps would be appreciated!

I have a Polestar 2 and I have enabled Curve Speed Assist in my car. Works perfectly well, so long as I have Adaptive Cruise Control enabled.
