XC90 Vision camera fault
#1
Hello. There's a problem with the XC90 camera. In the middle of driving, the traffic sign recognition and cruise control suddenly stopped working. I finished my drive, and today I managed to read the error codes. Is the camera now broken, or has anyone else experienced a similar issue?

ASDM-C100152 - Vision System Camera. System Programming Failures. Not activated - Permanent fault
ASDM-U101500 - Lost Communication With Infortainment Head Unit (IHU) - Intermittent

This kind of fault has occurred for the first time — is it possible for the camera to lose its calibration in the middle of a drive?

Thanks!

I'd be checking your sunroof drains as a start.

Sunroof drains good.
Dealer re-calibrate the camera and radar and it work again.

This'll hurt; but you could have done that with OrBit ?

Technically, it could have been done with Orbit as well. But since the car didn't have a license and he considered buying one just for calibration too expensive, he decided to go through the dealership instead.

Everyone was surprised that the camera lost its calibration while driving — they said they had never encountered anything like that before.

In any case, thanks for pointing me in the right direction to start troubleshooting.

any additional info on this, we just got the c100152 out of no where and searching for info. Blew out the sunroof drains and water flows freely out of the channels. Thanks..

ran the calibration program with my scanner and 7-10 miles later everything was back to going. I'm at a loss as to what the issue was or what caused it, no service work done and no rain the last few days. I know orbit could do it but I didn't know if the laptop had to be hooked to the car the whole time and there's no 120v outlet in the vehicle.
