Volvo xc40 amplifier

This is indeed strange. It looks like your IHU does not want to get the config changes.
Connect the original AUD then  Take a backup of your current config then restore all config to OEM.
Check the software part numbers for the original AUD.
Then connect the NEW AUD and check the sound again. If you still do not get any AUD from PIN2 and PIN5, put the 028 to 04 and write to the car.
Right after the config completed, reset the IHU and the AUD once again from the ECU tools tab.

In the applications third page. You should see the sound experience app. Put the studio settings to all seats and check again and speaker output.
If you still do not hear sound from PIN2,  Your IHU might not have the correct software in it to enable those channels.  Write an email to support, they might have DST (pre-amp) software for your IHU.

according to the data from the ecu, do you know that the amplifier is not communicating with the IHU?  so that I can read it too when I try another amplifier.  what numbers should I watch when there is a change?

the fact that you could read the AUD software part numbers, it is communicating.
You should check and compare the software part and configuration part numbers between the new and original part numbers.

I am looking at the pictures, it looks like you posted the same AUD twice.  Both set of pictures have the same serial number.
Compare the software numbers of your original to the new one you got.

it is correct.  I read from ECU in January and the same yesterday.  it's my flood booster.  and the second picture is the new amplifier.

can the new amplifier not load the data from the new one.  when it shows the same series.  can it be?

can it be updated somehow?

this is the serial number of my flood amplifier.  so it is certain that the new amplifier displays it at all.

it does not show the new serial number.

All the pictures are showing the same serial number.
Look at your original AUD. what serial number you see on the sticker? Then connect your original AUD to the car, read the ECU info and check the reported serial and software number.s  The serial number must match to the one on the sticker of the original AUD.

Once you have that confirmed, compare the  original AUD software part numbers to the new replacement one.

Pozrite sa na svoj pôvodný AUD. aké sériové číslo vidíte na nálepke? Potom pripojte svoj originálny AUD k autu, prečítajte si informácie o ECU a skontrolujte nahlásené sériové a softvérové číslo. Sériové číslo sa musí zhodovať s tým, ktoré je na nálepke pôvodného  AUD

Keď to potvrdíte, porovnajte  pôvodné čísla dielov softvéru AUD s novými náhradný

That is strange, both AUDs shows the same SW part and configuration numbers.
What is you OEM settings for 028 ?
If it's 01, put it to 02.
If it's 02, (less likely) put it to 04. and reset the IHU and AUD.
If still you cannot hear from pin 02 (-) and 09 (+), either your IHU does not have the software to enable the AUD or the AUD you both is faulty.
Send an email to support, they might have the pre-amp software for your IHU to enable it.
