Thank you.
I have installed the IMS and the BBS but it doesn't seem to work. My Car doesn't have an alarm. Is it mandatory to go to the dealer to install the software ? Thx

No, if you already installed the IMS and the Siren in the engine bay, you can use the Orbit to enable them.
However, you will need to revert the changes to OEM and disconnect them every time you visit the service.
1) If you do not revert the config changes to OEM, VOLVO will block your car for any software reload.
2) If you do not disconnect the Siren (Alarm and IMS). VIDA will detect them and force you to reload them and make them official before letting you to perform totol upgrade.

I have installed them but they don't seem to work.
I have changed :
064. ALARM from Without Alarm to ALARM
065. INTERIOR MOTION SENSOR from Without to Interior Movement Sensor.

I did the test with the window down but no trigger ...
Also i  tried to change:
096. AUDIBLE LOCKING FEEDBACK from Disabled to On
but again nothing.
Is there anything i need to change ?

Thank you !

You can try,  07 PASSIVE ARMING . It will arm the alarm without even locking the doors.  Turn off the ignition, get out and just close the doors. Wait about 5 minutes and open the door, you should hear the siren.

In the sensus main option menu (first tab) you should also have an option for the IMS. Make sure it's not disabled. "Green means reduced (IMS disabled)".
Another thing, do you have the red light flashing on the top of the dashboard where the center speaker is after lock the car? If not, you might be missing that.

Yes i have the red led blinking when the car is locked.
After i did those changes the "reduced alarm" did appear on the sensus screen ( i didn't enabled it ).
Will give it another shot tomorrow.
How can i test the siren to see if it works ?
IMS should appear in the list of modules after the profile update correct ?
Is there any special setting for the siren ?
Shouldn't 096. AUDIBLE LOCKING FEEDBACK from Disabled to On make the sound when locked ?
After the settings changed should the car be left/driven ?
I bought both of the item used so i hope i didn't bought broken ones .. although bought from 2 different places .. so the chances of being broken both of them is very unlikely ...

You also have 095 VISIBLE LOCKING/UNLOCKING

If it's enabled "green" it disables the IMS.

Try to reset all ECUs.  Another possibility your CEM is low level and does not support it.

Enable 070 PASSIVE ARMING.  Unlock the car, start the engine, (don't need to drive). Ignition off,  get out and close the door. Do not lock the car. Wait about 3 to 5 minutes. You should see the red light on the dash starts blinking.  Open the door without pressing unlock button on the remote key. You should hear the siren.

The 095 VISIBLE LOCKING/UNLOCKING is from.favtory and it works. Car blinks when locked/unlocked.

Will test the other methods and get back with findings.
