Can't install - This installation package is not supported by this processor
#1
Hi,

I just bought a license and scrounged up an old windows 10 laptop (I'm normally a Mac user).

Unfortunately I can't start the installer.
It fails with the message "This installation package is not supported by this processor.".

I'm running Windows 10 32bit on an Atom x5-Z8350.

I also have a non-Intel Windows PC (Copilot+ with Snapdragon).  A few months back, SpayceTech provided me with a beta of a build that runs on it and it worked as expected.

I have recently asked for an update and am hoping they'll post one soon.

Arm is different - that's new tech and there is a Beta.

Atoms were the lowest spec that Intel did and is 32/64bit arch. What you may find here is that it's simply too old to support some of the required features for OrBIt. Please email support(at)spaycetech.com and Power6 will confirm for you.

Thanks.  I already emailed info at earlier but just forwarded my request to support at as well.  Hopefully the updated beta will be ready so I can flash my car while still on holiday PTO ;-).
