VCM remote update?
#1
I read somewhere on this forum that Spa cars do not remote update ecu software.

When I installed Orbit for the first time some days ago I read the DTC's and got a number showing, three of which were:

VCM-U107700 Remote update installation failed.
VCM-U300362 Battery Voltage. Algorithm Based Failures. Signal compare failure.
VCM-U105301 DLC Activation Line. . General electrical failure.

Can anyone explain these, especially the first?

I did a clear all DTC's and they have not come back.

Thanks

Sensus or AAOS?

It could be the IHU software updates. It could also be remote as in WiFi (no cable) access to vida when you are inside a dealer.

Sensus, MY19 X60 D5.

I guess it could date from a visit to the dealer a couple of months ago.

I did not know the IHU did remote updates.

Thanks

I meant when your sensus gets software/apps updates

I am not sure IHU itself updates remotely

As far as I know, VOLVO discontinued SPA software updates "Under the download app" long time ago.  The online updates are for the applications and the maps.
Regarding the DTC, it can be caused by during the service if they tried to update it via wireless VIDA.
