I follow that instructions and all is done only the jack connector isn't there. I can't find it in n space where is the siren. It's hidden in other space?
In S60 the cable is under the windshield washer water tank. Maybe same as the XC 40.
When I install the alarm sensor, the connector wasn't right under the cover, it was put deeper under the top cover.
Excuse me for bothering you. Are you saying that under this wiper water tank I can find the cable with the connector for the siren? I looked but nothing on the surface.

You are right, on S60 it was under the wiper water tank at the top left corner. (driver side) but yours is xc40. According to official guide above, the connector should be under the plastic cover next to the place where you connect the siren. Check near under the wiper motor, break booster. Volvo wouldn't just leave it unsecured, it might be connected to dead end connector on the firewall.

After installing the siren, an error appeared. Battery Backed-up Sounder. System Internal Failures. Incorrect component installed.
When I lock the car I hear a beep. With this error.
Maybe because I didn't install IMS?
