Question - if you have enabled navigation on Sensus with OrBit...
#1
For anyone that has enabled navigation with Sensus, using OrBit...Does the function of changing the dash display info setting in the settings on the IHU to show the nav map work? Got a customer who enabled navigation and when he sets the dash display to show the map, the gauges get smaller as if it's working, but the map doesn't show in the DIM, just blank. The "music info" and "none" setting options work, it seems all is well but the can't get the map display.

Trying to see if this is a specific car problem or maybe there is another config item that needs to be done to make that work, or what might be the problem.

I have navigation from factory. Might it be the IHU level?  Mine is 02-high.

I'll check on that. Maybe I need to check if that was added at some point, maybe not a feature every car has from the beginning of SPA, I think this case is a 2018 XC60. Would be in the IHU to send the map display to the DIM, but I suppose if it wasn't supported the option in the IHU menu wouldn't show up. My 2019 S60 has nav from the factory and the map disaply is an option and does work. But I expect a factory equipped car it would.

I was hoping to hear from someone that enabled it with OrBit to gather if it's a specific problem to this car or something common that might need a further config setting.

I am afraid, it might not be just a config. the DIM might have a different software version. Similarly, installing the base and regional maps after enabling the nav.

I just retrofitted factory nav and large screen DIM today, and both seems to be working fine, and I can see map on DIM no problem.

One thing I'll mention tho, make sure they are loading the correct base map for their region, which would be NA for USA and other NA countries, map for a specific region won't work at first.

Mine is a base spec 2019 S60 T6 Momentum with no factory nav and small screen DIM, if that matters.

I first changed the DIM size from 8 inch to 12.3 inch, and then changed the navigation from "without navigation, with internet map" to "with navigation, with internet map", I don't think the internet map part makes any difference once you enabled the navigation.
