Orbit 118 Autolight Function
#1
Hi,
I have done some settings and experimenting with some. Love the Orbit software. Smile
One setting in orbit seems to let me configure the lightsensitivity of the autolight function, Setting 118

Original my Volvo S90 2018 i set to:
03 Without configurable light sensitivity thresholds.

I tried set it to 01 Shorter day but could not tell if there was a difference between 01 and the OG 03 settings. Also I did not see any extra button to set the "Light sensitivity"

So, what does the other two settings do?
if set to 01 Shorter day (Europe). Will this turn off the DDRL quicker at dusk to turn on the low beam when the lightswitch on the stalk is set to AUTO?
And if set to 02 Longer day (Asia) do the opposite?
Run the DDRL longer ex.  let it getting darker outside before switching off the DDRL and turn on the low beams instead.

I use the "Longer Day (Asia)" setting on mine to extend the period of time the DRL stays on before headlights kick in. I found the headlights would come on way too early in the day so I just figured I'd change it...

From what I have found, there is no difference between setting "01" and "03" which have the headlights come on earlier in the day. Setting "02" does indeed extend the period of time further towards dusk until the headlights turn on.
