Does the cheap amazon cable work?
#1
I bought this https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B076...UTF8&psc=1 cable after reading it just needed to support BMW enet. Has anyone used this one know if it will work with Orbit? There are lots of them listed all look to be the same thing.

Its for a Polestar 2 if that makes a difference..

Yup, been using one since the beginning - BMW Enet cable from Amazon works a treat.

I haven't heard of an issue yet...maybe a bad cable once? The adapter is so simple it connects 4 OBD pins to the correct ethernet cable/jack and internally jumps 2 pins with a resistor to signal the gateway to turn on the connection. There is not too much concernse with quality of logic chips and such, since there aren't any.

I have a problem. My new one ? does not have RJ45 to connect the cable. What are my options?

I am a little confused by the necessary OBD connection lead required for a 2024 S60 T8 Recharge which has the Android-based system.

I have been told that it is a relatively simple and commonly available lead, but I've also come across references to it being advertised as a "BMW" connection lead rather than specific to Volvo?

Can someone please clarify which I would require- USB or ethernet?

I use Ethernet and a cheap $15 usb-to-ethernet adapter.

This is the cable I use
