Good Luck!
Did it work?

Send me pm ! I have solution.

It didn't for me, tried a few times, reset and battery disconnected, even the other way around, no luck.

There is an OrBit function to do the reset, no need for this battery disconnect-wait cycle.

can you share where the function is and steps? I have vida too and reading about TJ36916.1.0 but rather use orbit if I can. Thanks

I believe he is referring to ECU reset procedure, not battery life reset, PIN is still needed...

Yes need PIN, but there is a specific VCM battery reset function

Once you get the level 11 PIN:

Under ECU Tools
Select Active Diag ECU --> VCM
Select Set PIN on the left
Select PIN Level 11
Enter PIN
Click Save

-----

After that you reset the VCM battery life:

Under ECU Tools
Select Active Diag ECU --> VCM
Under Related Service Procedures
Select VCM BuB - Reset Backup Battery Lifetime
Click Run Service Procedure
