Polestar 2 Headlamp with wrong module controller

Hi 

I recently cracked my headlight and purchased one like new but from China and they send me the headlight work the wrong controller. I know now which is the correct controller (cost around 500) I still need to do  HCM reload but that's i believe a separate issue..my question if if I need to purchase the correct module or can orbit help to reprogram work the wrong one ?

Depends on the MY. MY2003+ has HCM with new software lock and it is not possible to reprogram used module - we tried with Andrew hard, but final result was only to buy the new one and to do reload with vida. It was some 9 months ago, maybe something already changed...
