Release the parking brake from the car, then start maintenance mode from Orbit... After replacing, exit maintenance mode.

In addition, there is a setting in the menu to engage parking upon engine shut off. Disable that first and then put the brakes on maintenance mode from Orbit.

What's does the maintenance mode in Orbit do? I've replaced the rear brakes on my MY16 XC90 and all I did was disable the parking break in the Sensus menu first and had no issues.

You can up the piston using a 9V battery.
You can also do it with a wrench.
Both methods can be seen on YouTube
It's a very quick job to change rear pads

Hi, is the same procedure for the front pads?
Or is it not necessary to unlock the brake?
