Can a fob work in two cars?

Love orbit, used it to clean up and add keys for my used c40.  Really convenient that the driver profile can be synced to the key...

Looking at getting a second c40, and wondering if it would be possible to have a fob for each driver, that worked in whichever car they got in...

What would happen, if a fob was added to two cars?  Has anyone tried this?
