First time configuration change

Hello everyone,

I’ve finally got my Orbit set up and connected to my 2020 Volvo S60. I’ve received the PIN and I’m preparing to make my first configuration change.

I’m planning to install Navigation (option #223) and enable Adaptive Cruise Control. I do have a battery maintainer rated at 8A/15A, but I’d prefer not to use it if possible - I didn't try it before.

If anyone has tips or recommendations for a smooth install, I’d really appreciate it!

Flashing takes minutes. So long as your battery is in good health you'll be fine. You could flash with the engine on, though be prepared for the car to come to a non-dignified stop when the ECUs restart. 
Recommendation would be to use the maintainer though.

I've never used my charger. As x119 said, it's pretty quick.

aside from a vida total upgrade, I don't see changes that would require plugging-in the car, I've never used orbit while charging, only when I did VIDA updates
