New "Auto" mode under One Pedal Drive for '24 XC40/C40 BEV

I was browsing XC40forums.com and noticed the '24 XC40/C40 have a new "Auto" mode under the One Pedal Drive settings. Curious if we could potentially enable this on older models... Anyone here have a '24 model so we can compare configs? :-)

Interesting, I don't think this was added to the Polestar 2 which is strange since I thought they used the same radar hardware. My understanding was that there was no difference with the actual radar units in MY24 compared to previous years as well. I guess this would be useful on the highway since I usually manually switch off OPD, but I feel like this would make the regen unpredictable in the city.

I recently read that feedback somewhere -- the "auto" setting resulting in somewhat unpredictable regen response.

I’ve been using the Auto on my XC40 for the last couple of days, but turned it off tonight as indeed it is seemingly random. I thought it was a low speed you’d regen higher speeds wouldn’t; but even that’s inconsistent.
