Polestar mode

If someone has a car like this I'm curious to know about couple of details:
Is there a switch somewhere in sensus where you can activate polestar drive mode or is it always on when not in eco mode?
If someone who uses orbit does have a car like this, could you kindly send your oem configuration .orb file for me please?

I'm asking because I have V90 -17 without drive mode knob and I haven't found a solution to get drive modes working. I can get them visible in sensus(polestar settings also) but they are not working. Steering wheel personalisazion doesn't work neither.
I would like to know how factory polestar optimization behaves in car like this and is the gearbox part of optimization done by changing these configurations what we can change by orbit or is it done by flashing a new software like engine and AWD part. This information might also help to find out a solution to get drive modes working. I still believe a little that this can be done in S/V90 somehow.

I have to check where it is, but I may have a drive mode button for a V90 somewhere. Let me know if you're interested.

Thanks for you offer! I might install the selector knob if i can't find another solution. How much you want for it and where are you from? Send me a PM so we can continue our the discussion private.

Can anyone confirm that the polestar optimization on a 2023 model B5 AWD diesel it's the same done by the dealer?
The 10 HP and 40 N torque?

Polestar mode enablement is only gearbox. It is not ECU or DEM.

B-series (mild hybrid): Polestar install is an ECM and TCM software. The mild-hybrids appear to have a newer generation of Aisin transmission and AWD system, where the TCM has (more?) control over the AWD operation. No DEM flash with Polestar install, but the AWD appears to be within the control of the TCM that gets flashed. For these changing config does not appear to have any effect "enabling" any present programming. (Note XC40 seems to be an outlier, uses the "old" style DEM even on B-series)

I flashed 02 Polestar Optimization on my '24 XC60 (B5 mild hybrid) and can confirm that a) Polestar Engineered mode now shows as an option in AAOS driver controls next to offroad mode, and b) it has a noticeable effect on shift points when active. RPM generally stays higher through acceleration and deceleration. Polestar mode also disables auto-engine stop which is nice because I haven't found any other way to disable it.
