What would be the advantage of resetting the history? Is this for the PHEV battery or the one in the trunk?

This is for the general car battery, hence you may wish to know its age. / reset upon fitting a new one.

Is there any way to get the battery readout for the main and/or support batteries with Orbit like Vida? Our current stealership is telling us that the support battery tests fine even though when the vehicle is not driven for several days there is a message saying "Start/Stop Support Battery Service Required"?
