It's been a while since I replaced my MIDs to bendy high full led. As I recall, when I tried setting my oem MIDs to adaptive, I got DTCs and did not work. You can always try and if you get DTCs, you can revert them back.

Bendy - dtc. Adaptive - works, no dtc. But effect is marginal.

Bendy does not work on MID headlights type at all! Period!
You can get the bendy button on the screen by changing the config "256  BENDING LIGHT" without changing 106 HEADLIGHTS, TYPE then enable bendy button on the center screen but it has no effect.
If you change the 106 HEADLIGHTS, TYPE  config to any of the bendy option, you will get DTC. because the headlight itself does not have the physical components inside!
In addition, as discussed in the main thread, Bendy lights HCMs labed HIGH. HCMs from factory comes with MID HCMs if the car is not equipped with bendy lights from factory! The new replacement HCMs does not have this distinction, they are all high.

Only 109 ACTIVE HIGH BEAM can be changed to have adaptive with MID headlight types.  Yes, the effects are different than with FULL LED headlight type.
